- New Japan Pro-Wrestling and sometimes referred to as NJPW or simply New Japan, is a major Japanese puroresu professional wrestling promotion founded in January 1972 by Antonio Inoki. NJPW is the largest wrestling promotion in Japan and the second largest in the world in terms of attendance and revenue (behind WWE). From its creation in 1972 until 1986, it was a member of the National Wrestling Alliance. NJPW is known for openly engaging in working agreements with various promotions all over the world, including WWE, ROH, Pride Fighting Championships and most recently Total Nonstop Action (TNA). Japanese legend Tatsumi Fujinami was appointed Director of Operations in NJPW and quickly reached a business agreement with Jeff Jarrett, who regained his share of TNA. Together, they former a new alliance in wrestling, one that wrestling fans have been dreaming about and has the possibility of becoming one of a kind, perhaps even reaching levels of success that allows them to be a competition to the juggernaut WWE. Time will time but for now it's time for some figthing!

Match 1 - Adam Cole  VS  Alex Shelley

- Adam Cole has found new friends. The always cocky and overconfident superstar has joined Bullet Club's ranks and quickly left ROH to became a full-time player for NJPW. The move was welcomed but not by everyone. Fellow ROH alumini Alex Shelley was not happy with Cole's decision, adding that he move will only benefit The Bullet Club and not New Japan Pro Wrestling. "The Panama Playboy" soon replied to Shelley, noting how jealous he is of his success and how jealous he is for not being part of something incredible like The Bullet Club. Quickly a match became official and we'll now see the debut of Adam Cole, a highly rated superstar in his first match in Japan soil but will Shelley ruin that fairy tale?

- Without giving much room for Adam Cole to breathe, Shelley soon hit a beautiful Northern Lights Suplex!

Match 2 - Bullet Club  VS  Briscoe Brothers

 - The Bullet Club continues their reign of supremacy in Japan. Always well positioned for championship matches, the villainous stable have been making things extremely hard for all japanese superstars and, well, to everyone NOT in Bullet Club. After AJ Styles departure, Kenny Omega took leadership of the group and soon they found success by having Tama Tonga & Cody Hall win the IWGP Tag Team Championships from The Great Muta and Jushin Liger. But their dominance will now be put to the test when one of the world's best tag teams The Briscoes come crushing down in NJPW! The duo has found huge success in the independent scene, especially in Ring of Honor (ROH) and have now taken this new adventure in Japan, First goal? Win the IWGP Tag Team Championships and put a stop on Bullet Club's ambitions. Will the redneck duo be able to make waves in their NJPW debut or will Bullet Club keep their place on the top of the food chain?

Match 3 - https://40.media.tumblr.com/05fd7351ec0672a68202acae80f3e109/tumblr_o4ov86nytE1tisd91o1_500.png  VS  https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/b2/26/4b/b2264b5eecc94a91e328d967cba0d8c7.jpg

 - Once again going back to The Bullet Club, not long ago a sub-stable was formed from within. Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks started calling themselves "The Elite" of Bullet Club and soon began demanding high profile matches in every show, letting everyone know how they are the best they've got and therefore only deserve the best. The demanding provided some interesting results as Kenny Omega got a shot at Tanahashi's IWGP Championship while The Young Bucks challenged The Great Muta and Jushin Liger for the IWGP Tag Team Championships. Unfortunately for The Elite, they failed in their quests mostly due to another recently born stable called The Hunter Club. Ever since AJ Styles broke Yoshi Tatsu's neck during a match, the self-proclaimed "Bullet Club Hunter" has made his personal goal to hunt down and destroy The Bullet Club once and for all. For that, he got interesting allies like the IWGP World Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi and the recently signed Michael Elgin, former Ring of Honor superstar. The Japanese crowd soon began showing their love and appreciation toward Elgin, who stopped Bullet Club's goals several times, even earning Tanashi's admiration. Now, the battle is set. The Elite accepted Yoshi Tatsu's challenge for a 6-Man Elimination Match but there was a problem in this; Hiroshi Tanahashi wasn't available due to his IWGP World title match vs Shibata but Tatsu and Elgin soon got joined by another legend, Jushin Liger! "The Shooting Star" has been a target of Bullet Club for a long time, being attacked on TNA by The Young Bucks and Bullet Club's recent addition, PJ Black. Now it's time for some payback! Who will be the hunter and the prey?

Highlights

- As soon as the match started, The Young Bucks nailed a brutal Double Super Kick to Jushin Liger!

- Yoshi Tatsu tagged in and quick went for Nick Jackson, hitting a great Hatch Suplex!

- Jushin Liger got into the match again and took some revenge as he hit a Sit-Out Powerbomb on Nick Jackson!

- As Liger was getting ready to finish Nick off, Kenny Omega did a blind tag and hit the One-Winged Angel and eliminates the japanese legend. [Jushin Liger eliminated]

 - To make things worse for The Hunter Club, Yoshi Tatsu got surprised with a low blow and the Meltzer Driver from The Young Bucks, getting eliminated to the shock of the crowd! [Yoshi Tatsu eliminated]

 - With only Michale Elgin left, the powerful Canadian superstar made everyone in the arena stand up when he single-handedly picks up both Young Bucks and nails a Double Death Valley Driver and eliminates Nick Jackson! [Nick Jackson eliminated]

 - "The Cleaner" quickly grabs Elgin and hits a vicious Omega Driver, almost securing the win!

- Kenny Omega gets frustrated and waits for Elgin to give the final blow....

- To everyone's shock, Michael Elgin counters Omega and hits a brutal Burning Hammer and eliminates The Bullet Club's leader! [Kenny Omega eliminated]

 - Elgin was doing the impossible but Matt Jackson wanted to stop his momentum and went for a springboard moonsault....

- In another amazing spot, Michael Elgin picks Matt Jackson in mid-air and finishes his outstanding comeback with an Elgin Bomb to win it for his team!

Winners: The Hunter Club (Yoshi Tatsu, Jushin Liger & Michael Elgin)

- The japanese crowd goes on their feet and show their appreciation to the fantastic performance from Michale Elgin, who surely won even more supporters in this new adventure!

Match 4 - Kazuchika Okada  VS  Ricochet

 - "The Rainmaker" is living a great time. Kazuchika Okada has become one of NJPW's top stars, becoming IWGP Heavyweight Champion several times and becoming one of Japan's best wrestlers. After failing to capture the IWGP Championship once more, Okada turned his attentions the next best prize; the IWGP Intercontinental Championship. He soon challenged for the title during a CMLL co-event, where Okada won the IWGP Intercontinental Championship in a Fatal-4 Way match that included the then champion Tetsuya Naito, Mil Muertes and Prince Puma. However, the final result came with some controversy in the mix, as apparently Prince Puma had Mil Muertes covered as well but the referee didn't see it. It's well-known by now that Prince Puma is an alias used by NJPW wrestler Ricochet and he soon returned to Japan with hopes of having the injustice rectified while Kazuchika Okada ignored Ricochet, claiming he was simply inferior to him and not worth his time. Soon, the match became official when Ricochet costed Okada a match against Naito and finally gained "The Rainmakers" attention. The table is now set for what it could be Ricochet's first major title victory in NJPW! Will the exciting Ricochet be able to reach the very top or will Okada show his superiority once more?

Highlights

 - The always exciting Ricochet started the match with several high flying moves, hitting Okada with a springboard dropkick!

- Ricochet went to the top rope and tried another Missile Dropkick but this time came crushing down, allowing Okada to hit a low dropkick!

- The champion went for an early finish by attempting his Rainmaker lariat!

- With an outstanding counter, Ricochet turns the Okada's Rainmaker into a Benadryller!

 - As Ricochet was close in winning the match, Tajiri, Okada's stalemate from Chaos went on the apron for the distraction.

- "The Future of Flight" quickly took care of the issue, hitting a dropkick to send Tajiri crashing on the outside!

- However, the distraction proved to be fatal for Ricochet who gets nailed with a brutal Rainmaker!

- Without knowing how, Ricochet managed to kick out, to the surprise of Okada himself. Still, the champion wouldn't let that stop him and hit another vicious Rainmaker lariat to secure the win and retain his championship!

Winner and Still IWGP Intercontinental Champion: Kazuchika Okada

- The Japanese fans show their love for Ricochet and his gutsy display while "The Rainmaker" celebrates his victory in the ring, showing once more his dominance in NJPW!

Main Event - Hiroshi Tanahashi  VS  Resultado de imagem para katsuyori shibata njpw

- The IWGP Heavyweight Championship is the ultimate prize in NJPW and many greats have held the title with honour and prestige. Greats like current champion Hiroshi Tanahashi, considered by many as "the man" in Japan. After the events that surrounded AJ Styles abrupt departure from NJPW, Hiroshi Tanahashi once again put the height of the company on his shoulders by defeating the departing american superstar in convincing fashion. Since then, "The Ace of the Universe" has managed to retain his championship against the likes of Bullet Club's leader Kenny Omega, Kazuchika Okada and MVP. But the exciting superstar has now a tough challenge ahead as the hard-hitting Katsuyori Shibata has been moving up in the ranks. The dangerous Shibata has been on a row and managed to secure a IWGP Championship match. Known for not showing many emotions and using a very stiff style, many in Japan have proclaimed that he's the heir of Shinsuke's Nakamura Strong Style, something that definitely fits Shibata. Who will emerge victorious? The most popular man in Japan or will it be the striking fighter?

- Although Shibata thought he had it, the fighter once again fired up and waited for the champion to get to his feet....

- The IWGP Champion once more showed great awareness and nailed a Twist and Shout!

- Hiroshi Tanahashi then went for his signature finisher, The Frog Splash but it wasn't enough to end the bout!

- "The Once in a Century Talent" kept going and showed that he can also work stiff!

- Out of nowhere, Shibata nails a nasty knee to the face but still wasn't enough to win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship! Amazing!

- The crowd is on their feet as neither men wants to stay down!

- After some back and forth, Tanahashi managed to capture Shibata in a Cross-Arm DDT!

- The champion then went for the top rope once more and hit another Frog Splash, this time to finish this incredible match!

Winner and Still IWGP Heavyweight Champion: Hiroshi Tanahashi

- As usual, the Japanese crowd shows their love and appreciation towards both competitors while Tanahashi thanks the fans and celebrates a hard fought battle.

- Suddenly, a familiar theme song plays and out comes Big Van Vader alongside Tatsumi Fujinami, who congratulates Hiroshi for his victory and announces that his next challenger for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship will be the man next to him, Vader! The crowd cheers as the veteran looks down on Tanahashi and shouts that he's "a dead man"! Thanks everyone and goodnight!
