Road to Money in The Bank
- After
Seth Rollins successfully retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
against 3 other superstars, The Authority took a step back in their previous
statements and welcomed with open arms “The Architect”, supporting once again
the former Shield member. But Rollins wouldn’t be fooled again and disregarded
any attempts of reconciliation with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, stating
that he’s done being their little pet and he proved that he doesn’t need them
when he defeated Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose and Sheamus all by himself. Tension
began rising between Rollins and “The Game”, until Stephanie McMahon had enough
and went on to say how they made Rollins who he is and they can very well
destroy him. The situation allowed one Bray Wyatt to appear and continue his
riddles about the “him” he’s been seeking and how Rollins prevented him from
getting the key to “his” castle. Bray Wyatt then finally reveals that The Rock
is the mysterious “him” and that he wants to erase “The Great One” from
existence and expose him for the fraud that he is. Stephanie then presents
Rollins his next challenger for the WWE World Title at Money in the Bank.......
“The Eater of Worlds” Bray Wyatt! Will the evil Wyatt finally get the gold and get
The Rock’s attention or will Seth Rollins once again show resiliency and prove
he’s his own man?
- The
Money in the Bank PPV was around the corner and that meant several qualifying
matches for the opportunity to secure a future World Title match at any time!
Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, United States Champion Kevin Owens, Alberto Del Rio
and Sheamus all qualified for the incredible Ladder match, leaving one last
spot open. The issues between “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns and “The PrizeFighter”
Kevin Owens continued, just like the long lasting rivalry between Ambrose and
Sheamus, with Del Rio continuing his winning streak and momentum going into the
PPV. To everyone’s shock, one Shane McMahon returned to a huge ovation, telling
everyone that he’s back and there’s news he will like to share but only when
the time is right. But to not let the crowd disappointed, Shane introduced “The
Phenomenal” AJ Styles as the last entry in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match,
to which the crowd went nuts for! Who will grab the most important briefcase in
Sports Entertainment? How will the debut of AJ Styles affect this match?
- If
you thought the heated and personal rivalry between John Cena and Batista was
over when the “Cenation Leader” defeated “The Animal”, you’re death wrong.
After suffering what Batista considers a “fluke” defeat, he continued to stalk
Cena, attacking on the locker room and breaking his arm with the Beast Bite
submission hold. The despicable actions sent Cena to the injury list while
Batista showed his true colours and mentioning that no one can even suspend him
or fine him due to his contract. “The Animal” then demanded to be called “The
Face of the WWE” but that wouldn’t last. As been known for years, John Cena
once again recovered in record time and returned to issue once last challenge
to the Hollywood star: a First Blood Match with Cena’s career on the line! If
Cena loses, he’s OUT of WWE and Batista gets to be called “The Face of the WWE”
but if Batista loses, he will no longer have that iron clad contract and take
punishment for what he has done! Who will earn the right to be called “The Face
of the WWE”? Will this be the last time we’ll see John Cena on WWE or will
Batista suffer the consequences of his actions and words from the last few
months?
- The
Best out of 5 Series between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan were reaching their
final chapters. Or so we thought. “The Viper” had 2-0 lead over “The Yes Man”
until Orton began entering a place no one should ever go: a man’s personal life
and family. With Randy’s despicable actions towards Bryan’s wife Brie Bella,
the former World Champion had enough and managed to regain a win over Orton.
Their next encounter will be during an edition of Monday Night Raw, where once
again Bryan came out the winner by pinning Orton after a Running Kick and tie
the series at 2-2. The decisive moments to determine who would get a future WWE
World Heavyweight Championship shot were getting near but that just meant Orton
was feeling cornered and everyone knows what happens when you corner a Viper...
Randy began assaulting Bryan off camera, attacking him on a shopping mall and
even getting into an Unsanctioned Match in a parking lot. The results were some
hard fines from WWE due to the situations and a decision: their last bout will
be contest inside a Steel Cage! Will Bryan get his ultimate comeback and
revenge on Orton or will “The Apex Predator” disgusting actions be enough to
secure him a WWE World title match?
- The
Tag Team scene was getting interesting to say the least. After Bad News Barrett
and Neville formed an alliance to battle The Wyatt Family, it looked like the
British were getting some very important momentum but that would be stopped big
time when Braun Strowman made his first appearance ever and destroyed The
British Invasion. Surprisingly, news about a potential Neville injury emerged
while several dirt sheets announced that the Barrett was resigning with the
company. It was proven right as WWE.com announced that Barrett has left. This
made other tag teams to step up to the plate which is what happened when a new
Nº1 Contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships Match was made between The
New Day and Awesome Truth. After their unpleasant encounter backstage at
Payback, both teams managed to square it off in the ring, with The New Day
emerging victorious and set to face The Wyatts at Money in the Bank. Soon, the
challengers learned what it meant to face the monsters, with their newest
member, Strowman, decimating all three members of New Day and showing that
their ranks have just gotten even scarier and stronger! Will the power of
positivity be able to overcome the darkness that The Wyatt Family unleashes?
