- Welcome everyone to TNA Sacrifice! The day of
decisions is here and we’re going to have an exciting full card tonight! The
return of the X-Division Championship has been trending all over social media
and tonight we’re going to see a new champion being crowned when X-Pac, PJ
Black, John Morrison and Matt Sydal face each other in a Fatal 4-Way
Elimination Match! But that’s not all! The TNA Tag Team Championships will also
be on the line with The Main Event Mafia members Booker T & Scott Steiner
defending their titles against the fan favourites The Wolves! Also, Jeff
Jarrett will return to a TNA ring when he tries to regain the TNA King of The
Mountain Championship from “The Destroyer” Bobby Lashley! And who can forget
our huge Main Event, with the TNA World Heavyweight Champion Ethan Carter III
putting the gold on the line against “The Vigilante” Sting inside a Six Sides
of Steel Cage Match! You can’t miss it! Coming up next, a heated rivalry goes
head to head when Diamond Dallas Page faces Drew Galloway in an Anything Goes
Match!
Match 1 – VS
- Drew
Galloway has been on a roll. After hitting the independent scene, the Scottish
superstar won championships all over the world and gained tremendous notoriety
within the wrestling business. It came as no surprise that TNA grabbed the
opportunity and got their hands on Galloway, who quickly became a fan favourite
and earned everyone’s respect and even admiration. Well, almost everyone it
seems. Diamond Dallas Page returned to TNA not long ago and was apparently
enjoying a nice run but during a very entertaining match against the red-hot
Galloway, something went off on DDP. After getting pinned clean in the middle
of the ring, Dallas went on a rampage and targeted Galloway, beating him
senseless and even hitting a Diamond Cutter on the announcers table. Some say
that was the day Dallas lost his mind and the once respected man has become a
lunatic and a dangerous individual, going as far as trying to hurt other
superstars in the roster like John Morrison in a recent match. Thankfully Drew
Galloway came right in time but it seems clear something is going to give
between these two heated rivals! Who will be more brutal tonight? DDP’s new
lunatic persona or will Galloway show everything he learned on the independent
scene and overcome the possessed Dallas? We’ll find out next! “The Master of
The Diamond Cutter” Diamond Dallas Page vs “The Chosen One” Drew Galloway!
Highlights
- Right from the start it was chaos, with both competitors quickly going to the outside and Dallas hitting Galloway with a vicious sledgehammer shot!
- The new sadistic DDP quickly found a new one to inflict pain, throwing the steel steps against a helpless Drew!
- Out of nowhere, "The Chosen One" nailed DDP with a devastating Claymore Kick!
- Gaining advantage for the first time, Galloway hit a scary suplex into the steel steps!
- The hard-hitting contest continued with DDP hitting a powerbomb right on the concrete floor!
- Dallas almost secured the win by hitting a brutal Diamond Cutter on the stage!
- Somehow Galloway managed to survive and delivers a nasty chair shot!
- After a brutal battle, Drew Galloway secured the win by hitting a violent Future Shock into the chair!
Winner: Drew Galloway
- Galloway barely celebrates as he is clearly hurting after this extremely brutal match while the fans show their appreciation for both competitors and they sure do deserve it!
- Backstage we see The Main Event Mafia
discussing tonight’s matches. Booker T asks why isn’t EC3 here, which Kevin
Nash quickly replies by stating that their World Champion is preparing himself
for his big match against Sting and doesn’t want to be disturbed. Kevin Nash
then goes on to say that tonight they need to be on their A-game and show total
dominance, telling X-Pac to bring the X-Division Championship to their ranks,
while Booker and Steiner need to retain the tag titles as well. Nash then says
when Carter finishes Sting off, they will only be missing the TNA King of The
Mountain Championship but that won’t be for long. Steiner steps in and says The
Wolves are nothing but vanilla midgets in their way and they will have no
problems in getting rid of them and show what Main Event Mafia is all about.
Kevin Nash approves and says tonight they will take one step further to total
control of TNA and bring back the glory days of wrestling. Coming up next, the
X-Division Championship is up for grabs in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match!
X-Pac, PJ Black, John Morrison and Matt Sydal! One of these men will be the new
champion! Stay tuned!
Match 2
VS
- The
X-Division was the center piece of TNA. It created a new and exciting type of
wrestling and it became one of the most searched by fans. The likes of Samoa
Joe, AJ Styles or Christopher Daniels all made a name for themselves by
competing in world-class matches for the honour to be called X-Division
Champion. After being considered inactive, it was with great joy that fans
received the news of the reinstatement, especially with the recent flux of
superstars who clearly are what the X-Division needs. Now, everyone wants to
became part of history, from Bullet Club’s recent addition PJ Black, to the
“Reborn” Matt Sydal or even the returning veteran X-Pac, all these men have a
word to say about the championship and all of them will most likely stop at
nothing to show fans that they are what they need and they are….. X-Division
material! Wait no more because the Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match is next! “The
Darewolf” PJ Black, “The Prince of Parkour” John Morrison, “Reborn” Matt Sydal”
and “The Degenerate” X-Pac will be battling for one of TNA’s biggest prizes!
Highlights
- The exciting contest had action everywhere, with X-Pac hitting his famous Bronco Buster on Matt Sydal early on!
- "The Prince of Parkour" John Morrison nailed Bullet Club's PJ Black with a strong knee to the face!
- X-Pac was the first man eliminated from the battle as John Morrison hit the Starship Pain to send The Band member out!
- "The Darewolf" hit a fantastic Springboard Inverted DDT on Morrison!
- Matt Sydal manages to gain some momentum and hit the Here It Is Driver!
- Always a fantastic scene to behold, Sydal hits the Shooting Star Press on Morrison!
- In a very shocking moment, PJ Black takes the opportunity to roll Sydal up and eliminate the high flying superstar!
- It looked like PJ Black had this one on the bag as he went for his 450º Splash on the already fallen Morrison.....
- Amazingly, Morrison manages to avoid the move and gets PJ with another vicious Knee Strike!
- To the crowd's delight, "The Shaman of Sexy" took the chance and hit the Starship Pain, becoming the new X-Division Champion!
Winner and NEW X-Division Champion: John Morrison
- The crowd erupts with the sight of John Morrison holding the X-Division Championship, being a fan favourite for a long time and someone who has all the tools to carry this return of the X-Division to new heights!
- We go backstage where we see Matt Hardy
speaking with Shane “The Hurricane” Helms when suddenly The ECW Originals Tazz
and Sabu enter the room. Tazz tells Hardy he was watching House of Hardcore and
he wishes he could say he was surprised but he wasn’t. It was obvious that he
couldn’t beat Dreamer on his own so that’s why he had to resort to having a
clown dressed as a super-hero to help out and worse, an ex-girlfriend. Matt
stops Tazz and tells him he’s just like any other has-been trash wrestler in
this world; a crying, pathetic and scared little old fart living in the past.
Matt Hardy goes on, saying he simply showed Tommy Dreamer that he messed with
the wrong person and that he is truly the star of The Hardyz. At that moment,
Jeff Hardy enters and asks the upset ECW Originals to calm down and let him
have some words with his brother. Tazz accepts but not without issuing a
warning to Hardy to watch his back because he isn’t the only one with friends.
Jeff then argues with Matt, asking what was all that at House of Hardcore and
why is Lita even involved. Matt Hardy laughs and says he knew this would
happen. He wished it didn’t but knew it. Instead of congratulating his own
brother, Jeff just comes rushing like a good little soldier and tries to make
this all about him. Matt then says it’s time for Jeff to understand that he
isn’t the star anyone, he is, “The Iconic” Matt Hardy and if his own brother
doesn’t support him……. Well, other people will. Matt Hardy and Shane Helms
leave the room, with Jeff looking disappointed.
- We return to ringside where Mike Tenay informs
us that this month, New Japan Pro Wrestling SuperShow will be transmitted on
Spike TV as part of the newly created TNA-NJPW cooperation! Tenay tells the
audience that no matches have yet been confirmed but hypes the event as one
that fans can’t miss, stating how this could be the beginning of an extremely
healthy and exciting collaboration between two wrestling forces! Moving on, coming up it’s time for the TNA
Tag Team Championships to be defended when Booker T & Scott Steiner lock
horns with the challengers The Wolves!
Match 3 – VS
- The
Main Event Mafia returned to TNA Impact and soon, regained control of most
operations within the company. Veterans Kevin Nash and Scott Hall endorsed
upcoming star Ethan Carter III as their own champion while providing help to
original members Booker T and Scott Steiner in winning the TNA Tag Team
Championships from then champions The Dirty Heels. As Main Event Mafia began
gathering more power, several TNA superstars began showing signs of not being
comfortable with the idea and raised their voices against the tyrants, which is
the case of The Wolves. The fan favourites won the opportunity to challenge for
the tag team titles but soon they realized that this wouldn’t be a simple
championship match but instead, a full-out war. The difference in numbers
quickly showed to play a big part in this feud, with several Main Event Mafia
members preventing The Wolves from gaining any kind of momentum. The odds seem
clearly against the challengers, who will not only be going against two
experienced veterans such as Booker T and Scott Steiner but they also need to
be aware of the potential involvement of Kevin Nash and its associates. Who
will emerge victorious from this heated rivalry? Will MEM retain their gold and
continue their reign of dictatorship on TNA or will exciting Wolves be able to
upset the power balance and bring back home some gold and thwart MEM’s goals?
That’s what we’ll find out next! Booker T & Scott Steiner vs The Wolves!
Highlights
- The veterans went for the control early on, hitting some double team moves on Davey Richards.
- After enduring a beating for a while, Davey Richards manages to pull a great suplex on Booker T!
- The Wolves were starting to get in control, with Eddie Edwards getting in but falls into a brutal Spinebuster from Booker T!
- "Big Poppa Pump" finally got into the match and quickly went for his signature Frankensteiner from the top rope on Edwards!
- Steiner wasted no time and locked in the Steiner Recliner!
- After some more back and forth, Booker T tried to finish it with the Scissors Kick but Davey Richards countered into a Cloverleaf submission move!
- It was just a matter of time until Main Event Mafia members came in as Kevin Nash and Scott Hall walk down the ramp....
- Unfortunately for them, another man was following as Mr. Anderson storms in and lays both Outsiders down with vicious chair shots!
- Meanwhile in the ring, Booker T got distracted with the outside shenaningans and it gave The Wolves the opportunity they needed to hit a fantastic Powerbomb into Cutter combination and securing the upset win!
Winners and NEW TNA Tag Team Champions: The Wolves
- The Main Event Mafia can't believe what just happened, as their plan backfired big time! The Wolves managed to upset the champions with some precious help from Mr. Anderson, clearly sending a message to MEM that the TNA roster is sick and tired of them!
- Backstage we see Christy Hemme interviewing the
new TNA Tag Team Champions The Wolves. Davey Richards starts by saying it’s a
dream come true, mentioning how hard this has been for them, constantly
outnumbered by Main Event Mafia and always held back by those in power. Now,
it’s their time and they just showed the locker room and the entire world that
MEM isn’t unbeatable and they are NOT running the show. Eddie Edwards says this
was just the beginning and mentions how they hope that Sting also wins the TNA
World Heavyweight Championship from EC3 and brings back some much needed
prestige to the title. Davey Richards also thanks Mr. Anderson for the much
needed assistance, saying that it’s not only them who have a problem with MEM
but the whole roster is getting sick and tired of them. They held their titles
high and say that The Wolves era has just began.
- On the announcers table, Mike Tenay has some
news regarding the NJPW SuperShow, mentioning that the Main Event for the show
has just been announced on TNA’s website; it will be the IWGP World Heavyweight
Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi defending the gold against the dangerous Katsuyori
Shibata! That’s a big one right there! But right now it’s time for the TNA King
of The Mountain Championship to be defended when Bobby Lashley faces his
challenger, “The King of The Mountain” himself, Jeff Jarrett!
Match 4 – VS
- “The
Destroyer” Bobby Lashley has been on a roll. Currently on a good winning streak
on Bellator, the fighter has also been on fire in TNA Impact, being unstoppable
for almost a year and winning the TNA King of The Mountain Championship from
Jeff Hardy in a dominant display. But it seems one man was not enjoying this
story and his name is Jeff Jarrett. After regaining back is share of TNA,
Double J quickly made it clear he was back to be the King, or if you will, “The
King of The Mountain”. His presence changed the landscape of TNA, building a
very exciting business relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling and telling fans that many of their dream matches will now come true. Was this all? Not by
a long shot. Jeff Jarrett made his intentions known by stating that since he
was back, he was entitled to the TNA King of The Mountain Championship, a name
he created during his long career. Obviously, none of this mattered to Bobby
Lashley, who simply said that if he wants the title, he can come and get it
himself but things aren’t that simple. During his short period in Japan, he was
granted membership in one of the hottest stables in professional wrestling today,
The Bullet Club and that is synonym of trouble. Now protected by his fellow
Bullet Club members, one must wonder if this will be indeed a one-on-one bout
or will chaos be in order. The reality is, the TNA King of The Mountain
Championship is on the line and the unstoppable Bobby Lashley doesn’t seem
worried about third parties coming in. Who will leave with the gold? The MMA
fighter who hasn’t lost a match in over a year or will Jarrett return to take
his rightful place as the top dog in TNA? “The Destroyer” Bobby Lashley vs “The
King of The Mountain” Jeff Jarrett!
Highlights
- The overconfident Jeff Jarrett tried to enter into a grappling contest with the MMA fighter but soon learned a lesson by getting thrown around like a ragdoll by Lashley!
- Lashley kept delivering some hard strikes to a completely groggy Jarrett!
- A confused Jarrett then sees himself trapped in a submission hold and with nowhere to go!
- Somehow, Double J manage to break free of the hold and locked in a Figure-Four Leg Lock himself!
- It didn't last long as Lashley quickly overpowered Jarrett and hit a brutal Powerslam!
- Things went bad to worse when "The Destroyer" waited for Double J to get to his feet and deliver a devastating spear and most likely securing the win!
- Without much surprise, The Bullet Club makes their presence felt with The Young Bucks coming down to the ring!
- Their intentions were instantly stopped as the powerful Lashley grabs both Matt and Nick Jackson by the throat and hits a Double Chokeslam!
- In a shocking turn of events, NJPW's Kenny Omega appears and plants Lashley on the mat with a brutal Aoi Shoudou, allowing Jarrett to crawl and get the pinfall!
Winner and NEW King of The Mountain Champion: Jeff Jarrett
- The crowd is still shocked about the events that transpired as no one thought Kenny Omega would appear on TNA and do this kind of an impact! Lashley had Jarrett's and The Young Bucks numbers but he clearly wasn't expecting "The Cleaner" to show up! It seems the TNA-NJPW alliance is always making some waves!
- We see a Sting promo, hyping tonight’s Main
Event match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
- On the backstage area, we see a focused Ethan
Carter III being approached by Kevin Nash, who quickly apologized for tonight’s
events, saying they overestimated Anderson and The Wolves but that won’t happen
again. Carter glances at Nash without saying a word but clearly not happy. Nash
tries to get a word from the champion but Carter simply walks off, leaving
Kevin Nash perplex. Coming up next, the TNA World Heavyweight Championship is
up for grabs inside a Six Sides of Steel Cage Match!
Main Event – VS
- The
TNA World Heavyweight Championship is the top prize in TNA and whoever holds
the gold, it’s considered “the man”. That’s exactly what Ethan Carter III, aka
EC3, wanted from the very beginning. Recently catapulted to stardom, the young
superstar hasn’t been shy in telling the world how great he is, proclaiming
himself to be the best and most important TNA Champion of all time and already
surpassing legends in the business, most notably, Sting. EC3 began name
dropping Sting in his interviews and segments, showing clear signs of disdain
towards Sting’s career and trashing all of his accomplishments in wrestling,
going as far as saying that he’s the one true “Icon” in wrestling. Well, as
they say, if you poke the bear too much…….. After having heard enough of the
narcissistic young champion, “The Vigilante” Sting reappeared on TNA Impact and
clearly targeted Carter and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Sting
started by showing disappointment over his former friends in Main Event Mafia,
mentioning how he thought they could understand what a true champion is and not
simply supporting someone who disgraces the championship and wrestling in
general. After knocking EC3’s Main Event Mafia ripoff, Sting was named Nº1
Contender for the championship and so the war began. Just like with The Wolves
and Mr. Anderson, MEM has used their superior numbers to gain advantage in
their battles and it was no different against Sting. Fortunately, “The Icon” Is
experienced enough to know what to do and that’s exactly what happened on last
week’s TNA Impact, getting the best on MEM and on EC3, perhaps putting doubts
in the young star mind. The table is set for one hell of a battle, with Six
Sides of Steel surrounding the ring and preventing any outside interference
from disturbing the match. This time there’s no help for EC3 and he will have
to show all of his credencials against a legend in the business! Who will
emerge as the winner? The future or the legend? "The Ass-kicking
Machine" Ethan Carter III vs “The Vigilante” Sting!
Highlights
- In a surprising event, the cage is filled with all type of weapons, making this match even more dangerous! Sting wastes no time and nails EC3 with a Kendo stick and throws him against the hard steel cage!
- The champion replies with a brutal chair shot and a cringe low blow on "The Vigilante"!
- The reckless EC3 shows determination and heart by hitting a tremendous Diving elbow drop through a table!
- "The Icon" Sting manages to recuperate and shows signs of a comeback, hitting his signature Stinger Splash!
- Sting pulls out every gun he can and goes for a Tombstone Piledriver, almost getting the 3 count!
- Trying to end the contest, Sting goes for the Scorpion Death Drop but amazingly gets countered by Carter into the One Percenter right into a steel chair!
- The champion took the opportunity to try and leave the cage but "The Man They Call Sting" wouldn't allow such a thing and incredibly grabs and launches EC3 against a table, hitting it hard!
- In the mix of all the chaos, it looked like Sting was coming out the winner as he was inches away from climbing down the cage. At that moment, a theme song played and out comes "The Monster" Abyss as everyone in the arena looks confused, including Sting himself!
- The distraction was the perfect opportunity for the resourceful champion EC3 to crawl to the cage door and fall down, winning the bout and retaining the championship to a chore of boos!
Winner and Still TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Ethan Carter III
- A confused Sting climbed down the cage into the ring again but in yet another shocking moment, a man resembling Vampiro suddenly appears while Abyss also enters through the cage door. A confused Sting had no chance as both monsters attacked "The Vigilante" and hit a vicious Double Chokeslam on the legend! The crowd doesn't know how to react as this final events have been extremely confusing. Abyss and "Vampiro" pose in the ring over the fallen body of Sting but the question here is this; what is the motive of this sudden attack? Are they with Main Event Mafia or simply after Sting? If so, why? All these questions will soon have answers! Thank you all for watching, goodnight!
